This design idea of a bureau came to me when I was storing some large paper and posters at my school in a traditional sketch bureau for architecture drawings, size A0. Today, our electronics are getting smaller and thinner and do not require large or deep drawers for storage. The wave-shape outside the drawers mimics the shape of books in a bookshelf.
The result is a soft, colorful and practical desk with shallow drawers that make it easier to have an overview of your electronics and other devices.
